<br />. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />SECTION 15. CCC ditch diversion rehahilitation on the San <br /> <br />2 Miguel river - appropriation. (1) In addition to any other <br /> <br />3 appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the <br /> <br />4 Colorado water conservation board construction fund not otherwise <br /> <br />5 appropriated, to the Colorado water conservation board, for the fiscal year <br />6 beginning July 1,2007, the sum of sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000), <br /> <br />7 or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the board to participate with <br /> <br />8 the Colorado water trust in a demonstration project on the San Miguel <br /> <br />9 river to modify the diversion structure of the CCC ditch to eliminate the <br /> <br />10 barrier the structure currently causes to fish migration and recreational <br /> <br />11 boats while still providing a full supply of irrigation water to the CCC <br />12 ditch. The scope of work for the project shall be developed by the <br /> <br />13 Colorado water trust cooperatively with the CCC ditch company and the <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />San Miguel watershed coalition, in consultation with the Colorado water <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 conservation board. <br /> <br />16 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) ofthis section shall <br /> <br />17 remain available for the designated purposes until the project is <br />18 completed. <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />SECTION 16. Recreational in-channel diversions and <br /> <br />20 instream flow water rights studies - appropriation. (1) In addition to <br />21 any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys <br />22 in the Colorado water conservation board construction fund not otherwise <br /> <br />23 appropriated, to the Colorado water conservation board, for the fiscal year <br />24 beginning July 1, 2007, the sum of one hundred fifty thousand dollars <br />25 ($150,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the board to <br /> <br />26 complete studies evaluating how instream flow water rights and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />recreational in-channel diversion water rights affect both current and <br /> <br />-14- <br /> <br />DRAFT <br /> <br />DRAFT <br />12.15.06 <br />
