Agricultural Reuse
. M&I Reuse
. Potential Desalination Projects both in the United States and Mexico
. Groundwater Management Options
i. Aquifer storage and recharge programs
ii. Conjunctive Use and Management Options
. Land fallowing
i. Permanent
ii. Dry year lease options

Aue:mentation Options for both the Upper and Lower Basins
. Watershed Management - Vegetation
iii. Patterned logging operations, done in conformance with the U.S. Forest
Service Management Plans, that reduce sublimation and result in an
increase in snowpack
iv. Control of Tamarisk and similar none native riparian vegetation
. Coordination with other water conservation programs, such as the Colorado River
Salinity Control Program, both of which could derive benefits from efforts to
reduce system losses and conserve water
. Importation (likely from the Snake and\or Columbia River Basins) [?]
. Identification of reservoir sites, such as Diamond Fork, that could meet multiple
needs in adjacent river basins or other key and significant reservoir sites that
would greatly improve water management throughout the basin [?]
. Weather Modification options are being addressed in a separate study effort and
outside the scope of this effort

We believe that the development of all augmentation water in the Upper Basin, unless
specifically identified otherwise, is "Colorado River System Water" available to any and
all water users pursuant to law.

Flood Protection.
