The weather station is connected to the <br />central computer via a telephone modem. This allows the weather station to be <br />accessed by the City of Pueblo (They are also running a Maxicom system.) for <br />two of their nearby park sites without conflicting with our operation. <br /> <br />The system was also designed to allow access by cellular phone or remote <br />computer so that the Grounds Department, can operate the system in the field <br />without having to have someone issue the commands from the keyboard of the <br />central computer. This feature also allows the Grounds Department supervisor <br />the option to check the system on weekends and holidays from a remote <br />computer. <br /> <br />A site plan showing the locations of the field satellites, the central computer <br />temporary and permanent locations, and the weather station is included as <br />Exhibit D. <br /> <br />5 <br />
