Our installation schedule suffered from an unusually wet spring
and early summer in 1995, but the system was fully installed with almost all
features operational by the end of July, 1995. Turf Irrigation was most helpful in
providing training on the system and in ensuring that all of the features that
needed to be used at this time were operational.

The irrigation period that the system was operational for was short in 1995, but
represented a significant portion of the water usage because of the heavy rains
in May t~rough July and the warm fall that extended irrigation well into October.
We are looking forward to utilizing the system for a complete irrigation cycle in
1996. Through other funding sources, we were able to purchase additional field
satellites and equipment that will be installed during the remainder of 1995 and
the early part of 1996 to expand the system. The Grounds Maintenance staff will
also receive additional training on the system during the winter to better acquaint
them with all of the system features prior to the next irrigation season.

3
