Late tap fee ($600.00) will <br /> <br /> <br />be assessed if the tap is not put in when new line is laid . <br /> <br />There will be a $90.00 annual use fee that can be paid in a lump <br /> <br /> <br />sum, or during irrigation season, April - October or as equal <br /> <br />monthly payments. <br /> <br />The Town of Nucla has adopted the following policy, which <br /> <br />outlines the services that the Town will provide in the <br /> <br /> <br />installation of a raw water tap and the conditions under which <br /> <br /> <br />fees will be charged. (see appendix B) <br /> <br />Phase III will consist of the construction and installation of an <br />additional 26 blocks or 11,000' of mains and the adding of 130 <br />taps or customers. This will also help the town further utilize <br />shares of water. Participants in the project will continue to be! <br />the citizens of the community, the Town's planning commission, <br />the West End School District and the Office of Soil Conservation. <br />Technical assistance has been provided by Western Engineers, <br />Thompson-Langford Corporation, Office of Soil Conservation, <br />Armstrong Consulting and the Colorado Cooperative Ditch Company. <br />The Nucla Planning Board has and will continue to participate at <br />the onset of implementation of the project by having monthly <br />public meetings regarding the progress of the irrigation system. <br />The West End School district will become involved as they will be <br />one of the first sites the Town serves.
