deferred over 6 months or 12 months. Late tap fee ($600.00) will

be assessed if the tap is not put in when new line is laid .

There will be a $90.00 annual use fee that can be paid in a lump

sum, or during irrigation season, April - October or as equal

monthly payments.

The Town of Nucla has adopted the following policy, which

outlines the services that the Town will provide in the

installation of a raw water tap and the conditions under which

fees will be charged. (see appendix B)

Phase III will consist of the construction and installation of an
additional 26 blocks or 11,000' of mains and the adding of 130
taps or customers. This will also help the town further utilize
shares of water. Participants in the project will continue to be!
the citizens of the community, the Town's planning commission,
the West End School District and the Office of Soil Conservation.
Technical assistance has been provided by Western Engineers,
Thompson-Langford Corporation, Office of Soil Conservation,
Armstrong Consulting and the Colorado Cooperative Ditch Company.
The Nucla Planning Board has and will continue to participate at
the onset of implementation of the project by having monthly
public meetings regarding the progress of the irrigation system.
The West End School district will become involved as they will be
one of the first sites the Town serves. Furthermore, the Office
