Information related to the description of the sponsoring entity, the study area, the <br />socioeconomic characteristics of the study area, and required nontechnical <br />documentation, such as resolutions, will be provided by the sponsoring entity or <br />CWCB staff, if previously furnished. These requirements have been discussed with <br />Mr. and Mrs. Palmer. WWE will summarize such information or incorporate it into <br />the feasibility study in appendices as appropriate, but will not be responsible for <br />assembling the information or for its completeness. <br /> <br />4. Based upon the preference of the project sponsor, feasibility-level design and cost <br />studies will be performed by the firm Absolute H20 of Aztec, New Mexico. We <br />understand that the firm is interested in the project and has agreed with the project <br />sponsor to perform the design engineering at no cost. The scope of Absolute H20's <br />responsibility includes adeqUate feasibility-level coverage of the following areas: <br /> <br />. narrative description of project operation and how the entire project will <br />function, <br /> <br />. maps, layouts, profiles, cross-sections of project components, <br /> <br />. hydraulic and structural design criteria, <br /> <br />. project implementation schedule, and <br /> <br />. estimate of capital and 0, M & R costs. <br /> <br />WWE will review .the design and cost information from Absolute H20 for <br />reasonableness and will base the financial analysis upon the estimated costs. <br /> <br />In the event that Absolute Hp is unable to provide sufficiently complete information <br />to meet the draft report due date, or if WWE and CWCB staff conclude that the <br />information furnished by Absolute H20 is inadequate for purposes of the feasibility <br />study, WWE will develop conceptual design and cost estimates with appropriate <br />contingency factors to enable a substantially complete feasibility study to be <br />presented to the CWCB on 1f29/97. Any such design and cost work performed by <br />WWE will be in addition to the total estimated study cost of $5,000, as discussed <br />below. <br />
