Project Management <br /> <br />Joe Busto, CWCB Flood Protection and Weather Modification Permitting Section, will <br />be the Project Manager for the proposed research study under the Reclamation WDMP, <br />and be the point of contact between the CWCB and Reclamation. He will participate in <br />research study coordination and meetings with Reclamation. Also, he will oversee the <br />administration of the grant funds at the CWCR <br /> <br />Curt Hartzell will assist Joe Busto in the program management, closely overseeing <br />activities to ensure that the program objectives are being achieved. He will coordinate <br />project activities between the CWCB, the CSU research team, and the Denver Water <br />Department operational program's cloud seeding contractor, WWC/Larry Hjermstad. <br /> <br />Dr. Bill Cotton as the PI for the proposed research study by the CSU team, will <br />participate in the overall WDMP proposal team, viz. CWCB Program Manager Joe <br />Busto, CWCR Consultant Curt Hartzell, and WWC Manager Larry Hjermstad. Dr. <br />Cotton will also serve as overall administrator of the CSU Team's activities. He will see <br />that proposed tasks are performed on schedule, assist in the preparation of draft quarterly <br />and annual reports, and ensure that the CSU tasks stay within budget. He will be assisted <br />by administrative assistant Brenda Thompson who will compile and edit the draft <br />quarterly and annual reports. She will also monitor all CSU work task expenditures and <br />provide Dr. Cotton evaluations of expenditures. <br /> <br />Larry Hjermstad will manage the cloud seeding operations for the DWD seeding program <br />and the Vail Ski Area seeding program. <br /> <br />II-24 <br />
