4.2 Additional Option

Option to Extend Period of MRBP Evaluation of Model Performance.

The MRBP analysis in Task #5 is limited to one identified month due to the high labor
requirement and subsequent cost. This option would extend the MRBP analyses to cover
up to five months of winter seeding operations. Gustavo Carrio from the CSU team
would need 4.0 months to complete the additional work under this option. As in Task #5,
PI Bill Cotton and Paul Mielke would review the work.

4.3 Research Work Plan Timelines.

The following timeline identifies the time-periods during which each of the six tasks in
the basic research proposal, and the option task would be worked on. These timelines are
based on a WDMP grant being awarded to the CWCB near the beginning of the DWD
2003-2004 operational cloud seeding program, or by November 1, 2003.
