<br />Amount Requested: $16,000. Northglenn is a small community and does not have the
<br />financial resources available to both develop a Plan and implement it. The receipt of this
<br />grant request will allow the City to extend its finances without creating a financial burden
<br />to the City's revenues.

<br />2. On!:anization Retained to Assist in Preparation of the Plan:
<br />Hydrosphere Consulting was hired in 2005 to complete the initial conservation plan. The
<br />plan was submitted to the CWCB in June, 2005. In January 2006, the City received
<br />comments from the CWCB. It was evident that the City would have to hire a consultant
<br />to make the requested modifications and updates. Because the estimated amount to make
<br />the changes is greater than $5,000, the City is required to go through the request for
<br />proposal process. Therefore, we are not able to report at this time, who will prepare the
<br />plan. Hydrosphere will be notified of the opportunity to bid on this project.
