<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />devices for measurement of water are subject to written approval by the <br />Regional Director~ A water user is required to make its request for <br />approval of such methods and devices in writing to the Regional <br />Director. The request shall describe the meters, devices, or methods <br />for measurement and shall include the make, model number, and applicable <br />technical data. The measuring devices shall be installed and maintained <br />in a manner satisfactory to the Regional Director at the water user's <br />expense. Reclamation shall be given the right of access to inspect and <br />check the accuracy of the measuring devices at any time. If it is found <br />that the measuring devices have not been installed or are inaccurate, <br />the Regional Director shall require the water user to take corrective <br />action within a specified time period. If a water user fails to comply, <br />the Regional Director may take corrective action at the water user's <br />expense. The Regional Director shall determine the amount of diversion <br />or surface return flow from the best information available for the <br />period of time during which the erroneous measurements occurred.
