Nevertheless, these scoping <br />meetings will satisfy the NEPA scoping requirements, irrespective of whether an EA or <br />EIS is ultimately issued by the FERC. <br /> <br />3.3 Request for Comments and Information <br /> <br />Denver Water requests the participating parties to forward comments and <br />recommendations or other information regarding the Project to Denver Water. <br />Participating party comments may include: <br /> <br />. Comments on the scope of issues presented in this scoping document, and other <br />issues recommended to be included (see Section 3.]. Purpose of Scoping); <br />. Information that may help in conducting an accurate and thorough analysis of the <br />site-specific as well as the cumulative effects of relicensing or exempting the <br />Project; <br />. Identification of studies necessary to be performed; <br />. Discussion of the participating party's understanding of resource issues and goals; <br />. Explanation of recommended study methodology and documentation that such <br />methodology is generally accepted practice; and <br />. Explanation of how a recommended study will be useful. <br /> <br />Denver Water and the CDOW have compiled information concerning the eXlstmg <br />condition of the environment and the Project's effects on environmental resources. <br />Denver Water will also compile information on the Project's effects raised during the <br /> <br />9 <br />
