Any available information that would help address the issues described in this
scoping document should be submitted to Denver Water.

Information and comments can be submitted at the scoping meetings or submitted in
writing directly to Denver Water no later than August 4. 2003 (60 days after the scoping
meetings). To seek an exemption, Denver
Water is proposing to install a second turbine generator with a capacity of approximately
0.5 MW. If necessary, Denver Water will upgrade the existing transmission line or build
a new transmission line to convey the power generated by the Project. Denver Water will
propose environmental enhancements to the Project that are not contained in the existing
license. Denver Water will continue to store replacement water as decreed for storage by
its water rights at Williams Fork Reservoir and deliver that stored water to meet
municipal water demands. Water supply operations at the reservoir are for municipal
water supply and power generated at the Project is incidental to the municipal water
supply operations of the dam and reservoir.

10
