How the Project would or would not contribute to cumulative impacts in the <br />FERC Project area and to the Williams Fork River below the Project; and <br /> <br />. Reasonable altemati ves to the proposed action that should be evaluated. <br /> <br />Following the scoping meetings and a 60-day comment period. Denver Water will review <br />all the issues raised and revise this document (SDl) as necessary to reflect comments <br />received during the scoping meetings and the 60-day comment period. If preliminary <br />analysis indicates that any issues presented in SDI have little potential for causing <br />significant impacts, the issue(s) will be identified and the reasons for not providing a <br />more detailed analysis will be given in Scoping Document 2 (SD2). In the event no <br />substantial comments are received and no revisions to SDI are necessary, Denver Water <br />will notify participants by letter. <br /> <br />As shown in Section 6.0, Proposed Milestones for Denver Water's ALP, review of the <br />PDEA will occur before Denver Water files its final application for either an exemption <br />or a new license, If there is a need for additional formal scoping due to significant <br />developments, Denver Water will cooperate to provide additional scoping opportunities <br />as necessary. <br /> <br />3.2 Scoping Meetings <br /> <br />In addition to the written comments Denver Water will request. two scoping meetings <br />will be held to ask the participating parties for verbal comments and recommendations <br />regarding the Project. Denver Water will request the attendance of the participating <br />parties at either or both of the scoping meetings to develop a common understanding of <br />the proposed Project and to discuss current and potential resource needs and management <br />objectives in the FERC Project area. In addition, participants will be asked to help <br />identify data or other information that is needed and studies to be conducted for analysis <br />in the PDEA and to agree on a time frame and format for discussion of study results. The <br />meetings will be recorded using either written transcripts or audio recording. All <br />statements (verbal and written) will become a part of the FERC's public record for the <br />Project. Participating parties presenting statements at the scoping meetings will be asked <br />to clearly identify themselves for the record. Participating parties who choose not to <br />speak or who are unable to attend a scoping meeting may provide written comments and <br />information to Denver Water and the FERC as described below. The times and locations <br />of the site visit and scoping meetings are listed below: <br /> <br />On Tuesday, June 4, 2003, from II :00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.. a site visit of the FERC <br />Project area will be conducted.
