To review and revise the hydrologic modification portion of the <br />Colorado Nonpoint Source Assessment Report. <br /> <br /> <br />The subcommittee will serve the following roles. <br /> <br />2. TO p~opose and revise programs for control of negative impacts <br />~. resulting from hydrologic modifications. <br />... <br />..,'- 3. To identify and prioritize hydrologic modification projects for <br />~ nonpoint source funding. <br /> <br />4. To propose and identify appropriate references to assist in reduction <br />of negative water quality impacts resulting from hydrologic <br />modifications. <br /> <br />5. To serve as a focal point for public input for hydrologic modification <br />issues. <br /> <br />6. TO determine public education and information needs for hydrologic <br />modification nonpoint sources. <br /> <br />The. subcommittee will have open membership, but the following agencies and <br />interests are recommended as a core group which should be involved in the work <br />of the subcommittee. <br /> <br />Water Quality Control Division <br /> <br />Denver Water Department <br /> <br />Pueblo Water Board <br /> <br />City of Colorado Springs <br /> <br />Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District <br /> <br />Colorado River Water Conservancy District <br /> <br />Middle Park Water Conservancy District <br /> <br />Colorado Water Congress <br /> <br />Grand County <br /> <br />Colorado Division of Wildlife <br /> <br />Colorado Water Resource and Power Development Authority <br /> <br />U.S. Forest Service <br /> <br />Colorado Environmental Coalition <br /> <br />Northwest Colorado Council of Governments <br /> <br />The hydrologic modification subcommittee was formed later than the other three <br />subcommittees and consequently a management program for control of this source <br />is not proposed at this time. <br /> <br />Page 14 <br />
