As a possible alternative <br /> <br />or supplement to Lilylands, the Wheeler site might be developed. This <br /> <br /> <br />site has a potential capacity of 4,000 acre-feet or more, but is located <br /> <br /> <br />below the Lilylands Canal. Options exist however, to get the stored <br /> <br /> <br />water back into the Lilylands System. For any enlargements on the <br /> <br /> <br />Lilylands System to be completely useful, additional 'water will need to <br /> <br /> <br />be brought in from farther east. This will require participation in the <br /> <br /> <br />expansion and enlargement of the Lone Cone and Gurley Collection System; <br /> <br /> <br />there is much more land than water even with maximum development. <br /> <br />It is proposed that the items described in Phase I be analyzed With <br /> <br /> <br />greater intensity (at the feasibility level) in the initial study than those <br /> <br /> <br />of succeeding phases since they represent the greatest opportunity for <br /> <br /> <br />initial development. <br /> <br />~. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />;~ <br />
