<br /> <br />San Juan-Chama <br />Water Accounting <br />Albuquerque Area Office <br />November 2000 <br /> <br />The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month of November was computed <br />to be 986 acre-feet (AF) as shown in Table 3. There were -72 AF net San Juan- <br />Chama (SJ-C) losses, as shown in Table 2. There were no diversions through <br />Azotea Tunnel this month. <br /> <br />There was a total of 125 AF of Natural (RG) released from Heron. There was 8418 <br />AF of SJ-C released in November, of which 1271 AF was sent to Cochiti's Rec pool, <br />6847 AF was from the City of Albuquerque (City) to their pool in Abiquiu, 400 AF <br />was from Bernalillo to their pool in Abiquiu, 400 AF was from Los Lunas to their <br />pool in EI Vado. <br /> <br />There was a total of 5041 AF released from EI <br />the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District <br />storage in Abiquiu, this operation was done <br />order to work on the outlet works. <br /> <br />Vado, of <br />(MRGCD) , <br />in order <br /> <br />which the total was from <br />this water was sent to <br />to draw down E1 Vado in <br /> <br />There were 3732 AF of SJ-C water released from Abiquiu, of which the total was <br />sent to Cochiti's Rec pool. <br /> <br />There was 1.36 inches of precipitation at Heron Reservoir, which is 80% of the <br />November running average of 1.71 inches. The monthly computations for Heron <br />Reservoir are summarized in Tables 1-3. <br /> <br />Total inflow into Nambe Falls Reservoir was computed to be 334 AF. There were 3.3 <br />AF of losses on the reservoir. Table 4 summarizes San Juan-Chama water at Otowi. <br /> <br />Estimated sediment deposition in the San Juan-Chama pools at Abiquiu and Jemez <br />Canyon Reservoirs, and Cochiti Lake are presented in Tables 5A-5C. Storage and <br />evaporation of Rio Grande water in EI Vado and Abiquiu Reservoirs are shown in <br />Table 6. <br /> <br />All data are provisional and subject to revision as final data are collected and <br />analyzed. <br />
