<br />San Juan-Chama <br />Water Accounting <br />Albuquerque Area Office <br />September 2000 <br /> <br />The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month- of September was <br />computed to pe 130 acre-feet (AF) as shown in Table 3. There were 2058 AF net <br />San Juan-Chama (SJ-C) losses, as shown in Table 2. There were no diversions <br />through Azotea Tunnel this month. <br /> <br />There was a total of 130 AF of Natural (RG) released from Heron. There was 27899 <br />AF of SJ-C released in September of which 8023 AF was from th City of Albuquerque <br />(City) for down stream use by the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District <br />(MRGCD) ,19461 AF was released by MRGCD for supplemental irrigation water in the <br />middle valley, 415 AF was released from Cochiti Rec pool replacement water. <br /> <br />There was a total of 3809 AF released from EI Vado for MRGCD's down stream use. <br /> <br />There were 14981 AF of SJ-C water released from storage in Abiquiu, of which 2180 <br />AF was MRGCD's release for irrigation demand, 12801 AF was released from the City <br />(USBR lease) for supplemental irrigation water in the middle valley. <br /> <br />There was <br />September <br />Reservoir <br /> <br />0.28 inches of precipitation at <br />running average of 1.70 inches. <br />are summarized in Tables 1-3. <br /> <br />Heron Reservoir, which is 16% of the <br />The monthly computations for Heron <br /> <br />Total inflow into Nambe Falls Reservoir was computed to be 121 AF.
