Given the lag between construction and collection <br />of tax revenues (up to two years), there will not be <br />sufficient revenues available from the proposed LEA mill levy <br />to serve immediate needs. <br /> <br />To cover this short-term revenue deficit, the developer has <br />agreed to pay $20,000 for a deputy's salary during the fi!st <br />two years of construction and $16,000 for a patrol car. <br />Additionally, office space would be provided for the deputy <br />in an existing building.
