<br />I <br />I <br /> <br />1 " " - <br />V~~J <br /> <br />Supplemental irrigation water will be provided to irrigahle lands of <br />the Lower South Platte Water Conservancy District (consisting of <br />166,370 acres) and the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District <br />(consisting of about 120,700 acres). The water supply will average <br />140,700 acre-feet annually, of which 88,400 acre-feet will be obtained <br />from regulation of surplus streamflow, 31,000 acre-feet from direct <br />flow rights associated with irrigated lands to be inundated by Narrows <br />Dam and Reservoir, and 21,300 acre-feet from divertible recurn flows. <br />Of this total water supply, 119,'100 acre-feet are salable project water <br />at the outlet works of Narrows Dam and Reservoir and does not inclwoe <br />the 21,300 acre-feet from divertible return flows. <br /> <br />Approximately 36,250 acres of land will be acquired for right-of- <br />way for construction and operation of the Unit. In addition, county <br />roads, Colorado State Highway No. 144, the Union Pacific Railroad, <br />telephone, transmission, and natural gas lines, about 114 rural <br />families, about 40 urban families, 28 business properties, and a <br />cemetery will be relocated. <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />6 <br />
