S. Water Resources Counci 1 "River Basin and
Regional Plans" Revised March 1976, there are not anyon-going
and/or proposed Level B studies in Oklahoma. The Red River below
Denison Dam was forwarded to Congress on 6/75. It is also to be
noted that a Type IV comprehensive River Basin survey concerning
the Red River Basin, above Denison Dam is being conducted by the
Soil Conservation Service. According to the Level of Planning
(WRC definitions) which became effective 25 October 1973, as stated
in a re~ort titled "Preauthorization Planning Activities of the
Bureau of Reclamation, the Corps of Engineers and the Soil Conserva-
tion Service for F.Y. 1976", completed by the Standing Committee on
Exchange of Program information to assist the AWR8IAC committee in
reviewing the preauthorization activities of these three construction
agencies that the Red River Basin Survey, would be classified as a
Level B study. If VRC does not recognize this as a Level B study
because it is not funded by the WRC, then appropriate changes in
the definition are needed at this time.

I
I

I

.'

TEXAS

.'
,~

No Level B studies are proposed at this time.

.'

I
I

I

I

I
I

I

99

I
