<br />5, Completed presentation to Utah water users (by Tom Pitts). <br /> <br />Status: Tom Pitts made a presentation about the Recovery Program to the <br />boards of directors of the Grand Valley Irrigation Company and the <br />Redlands Water and Power Company in November 1993 and plans.to make a <br />similar presentation to the Utah Water Users Association at its meeting <br />in March 1994. <br /> <br />6. Revised Utah fishing licenses to include information on endangered fish <br />if possible; proposal to include same information on Colorado's new <br />fishing licenses for 1994. <br /> <br />Status: This item could not be completed. The Utah Division of Wildlife <br />Resources determined it would not be feasible to add this information to <br />its fishing licenses. The Colorado Division of Wildlife included. this <br />information on all of its fishing licenses for the last three- years, but <br />is changing to a very different type of license in 1994 and will not be <br />able to continue printing this information on the new licenses. However, <br />both Colorado and Utah have placed photos of and information about the <br />endangered fish in their fishing regulation booklets for the past three <br />years and plan to continue this in the future. <br /> <br />7. Brochures distributed to fishing license agents at times of peak sales. <br /> <br />Status: Brochures were distributed to license agents along with the <br />spring 1993 newsletter. <br /> <br />8. Signs and/or other educational products produced for placement along <br />Yampa River. <br /> <br />Status: Six angler signs were produced, using logos from the Recovery <br />Program and the Yampa Valley Alliance. <br /> <br />9. Feasibility report on incorporating information about endangered fish <br />into the Colorado Division of Wildlife's RiverWatch program. <br /> <br />Status: The report will be discussed by the I&E Committee at its next <br />meet i ng, in January 1994. <br /> <br />10. Briefing packet for Congress. <br /> <br />Status: The packet was completed by the Recovery Program director, <br />assistant director and information and education coordinator. <br /> <br />I], Educational presentations for river guides. <br /> <br />Status: One workshop was completed by Canyonlands Field Institute in <br />August 1993. A second workshop was postponed until spring 1994 because <br />of low enrollment in the fall. <br /> <br />X, Status of Data Submission: Not applicable. <br /> <br />5 <br />
