Information <br />regaluing the procedures are presented below: <br /> <br />Department of the Army. Corps of Engineers. The AI-IR Office. <br />Tl1lsa, i.s respoll~ible for the over-all progrUIll'nin!; and coordination <br />between the six Corps of Engineer districts and between those dis- <br />tricts and other state anJ Federal agencies. It is also responsible <br />for the navigation economic stuJies. It will coordinate with the <br />centralized regional or field office designated by each state and <br />Federal Agency. <br /> <br />The Tulsa District will coo~dinate the activities of the Corps <br />of Engineers within the districts involved on the Arka~sas and Red <br />River Basins and the Little Rock District will coordinate those <br />activities on the White River Basin. Districts involved are: <br /> <br />Arkansas River: Albuquerque, Tulsa, Little nock, and <br />Vicksb'\l.rg <br /> <br />~fuite River: Little Rock and Memphis <br /> <br />Red River: <br /> <br />Tulsa, Vicksburg, and New Orleans <br /> <br />Corps of Engineers Districts have de?artmental approval to work <br />direct with the field forces of the other participating agencies <br />provided: (1) that the other agency is agreeable to that procedure; <br />(2) that copies of letters and memoranca relating to inter- <br />departmental coordination be furnished the A~rR Office, Tulsa, and <br />the "Basin" district; and (3) that matters dealing with policy for <br />which there is no known precedent be referred to the Ah~ Office <br />before action is taken. <br /> <br />An organization chart is shown in the Appendix, p.
