COORDINATING PROCEDURE (CONTID) <br /> <br />Special sub-work groups. Any work group may have internal <br />sub-divisions appropriate to its functions. Sub-work groups which <br />have gained extended attention of AWRBIAC, resulting in some <br />specific A~~IAC influence on the internal functioning of the work <br />group, include: /' <br /> <br />a. Subgroup on Hydrology. A group of four named. individuals <br />under the Work Group on Water Resources. Recommended by Tulsa Group <br />31 October 1951: procedure adopted by Al-JRBIAC 19 November 1951; with <br />assignment of specific tasks regarding coordination of hydrologic <br />studies, as incorporated in approved work outline. <br /> <br />b. Subgroup on Basic Agriculture Data. A group within the <br />Work Group on Agriculture. Establishment recommended by Tulsa Group, <br />paper approved be' AVIRBIAC on 26 February 1952, establislullent contingent <br />on ability of Department of Agriculture to supply a chairman after <br />1 July 1952. Tulsa Group recommendations are Appendix I, Minutes of <br />Informal Session 2-52, 26 February 1952. <br /> <br />c. Pond Creek Study Group. A working group of hydrologic and <br />economic speciali.sts in the Vlork Group on Flood Control, Vlaterflow <br />Retardation, etc. Task is a special study initiated by members of <br />the Work Group for clarification of related economic and hydrologic <br />criteria, reported to the Committee on 16 January 1952. Studies <br />were initiated in Tulsa on 18 February 1952 with 21 ~pecialists <br />from seven agencies. Activities were reported in Appendix D, Arf.RBIAC <br />meeting of 26 February 1952.
