Purpose. The purpose of this report is to present data, analyses, <br /> <br />and results of the sediment investigations program since September 1966 on <br /> <br />the Arkansas River in the Albuquerque District. Results wi 11 be used in <br /> <br />reservoir operation and management. These will also be used during studies <br /> <br />for flood control, channel improvement, water salvage, major drainage, and <br /> <br />related studies on the Arkansas River and tributaries. The report summa- <br /> <br />rizes current information on investigations being conducted and may be of <br /> <br />interes t to the Subconuni t tee on Sediment at ion, Inter-Agency Conuni ttee on <br /> <br />Water Resources. It will serve as a history of the investigations and <br /> <br />may be of immediate and future interest to engineers concerned with sedimen- <br /> <br />tation investigations of other reservoir projects. <br /> <br />2 <br />
