Part of St. Vrain <br /> <br /> <br />Creek and Bear Creek and all of the six remaining segments are <br /> <br /> <br />located on streams in the plains area which have relatively low <br /> <br /> <br />flows but which receive high volumes of wastewater. Six of these <br /> <br /> <br />streams flow through the Denver metropolitan area. The downstream <br /> <br /> <br />portion of the South Platte River segment, the Cache La Poudre River <br /> <br /> <br />segment, and the St. Vrain Creek segment receive their wasteloads <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />16 <br />
