Section 1 of the Inventory reviews all existing facilities. For

purposes of this Inventory, an existing facility is defined as a currently permitted storage facility or a facility

with a permit in process.

Section 2 reviews potential storage facilities, A potential storage facility is defined as any proposed or

potential site that ha.s yet to apply for a permit. Due to a lack of information, no assessment was made of

the feasibility of potential sites, A list of potential sites is provided for informational purposes only,

I
1
1
1
I
I
1
1
I
1
1
1
1

Section 3 of the Inventory addresses the Findings and Conclusions of the Water Bank with regard to this
Inventory,

As required by A.R.S, S 45-2452, the Water Bank has consulted with ADWR and CAWCD in developing this
Inventory. The Water Bank has also provided the opportunity for public comment by the Groundwater
Users Advisory Councils of the Phoenix, Pinal and Tucson NV1As and by other interested parties.

It is important to note that inclusion of a facility in the Inventory is not a guarantee that the facility will be
utilized by the Water Bank in the future, The Authority will annually determine which facilities will be used
through the development of an Annual Operating Plan. Conversely, a facility not included in the Inventory
may be included in a future Annual Plan of Operation. Again, the Inventory is to determine what facilities
and capacities are available to the Water Bank. not to determine which facilities the Water Bank will use,

5
