',: '. <br /> <br />As North Platte irrigation deliveries were initiated in May, the <br />Gray Reef release was increased to match the capacity of the <br />Fremont Canyon Powerplant minus the Casper Canal diversions. These <br />releases were maintained at that approximate level until July 25, <br />when the river bypass valves at Pathfinder Dam were opened. During <br />the time the valves were open (July 25 - August 15) the Gray Reef <br />release averaged 3,650 ft3/s. At that time, Alcova-to-Glendo river gains increased <br />more than anticipated and the Gray Reef release had to be reduced <br />to 450 ft3/s.
