A carpenter-paint and plumbing shop is under construction. <br /> <br />D'lvelopnents in Utah include: <br /> <br />(1) A floating marina in the Aztec Creek arm of IB.ke Powell on the <br />route to Rainbow Bridge National M:lnument. <br /> <br />(2) Boat ramps, campgrounds, picnic areas, marinas, and associated <br />facilities at Ralls Crossing and :Bullf'rog :Basin. The State of Utah has <br />issued three contracts for construction of three segments (totaling 37 miles) <br />of an access road into Bullfrog Basin. <br /> <br />(3) Boat launching and marina facilities at Rite, utah. <br />(4) The installation of buoys and navigational aids. <br /> <br />!!be :Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife, in cooperation with the fish <br />and game departments of Arizona and utah continued joint filllery investigations <br />during F. Y. 1967 to obtain the basic in:t'o:nnation needed to sustain superior <br />fishing at IB.ke Powell. <br /> <br />!!bese studies were initiated in 1963 and will continue through 1969. Species <br />of fish that have been plaDted in IB.ke Powell in past years in addition <br />to Rainbow Trout are IB.rgemouth :Bass, IOlmloop Trout, Kokanee Salmon, and <br />:Black Crappie. <br /> <br />TRANSMISSION DIVISION <br /> <br />The Transmission Division includes transmission lines, substations, switch- <br />yards, and other facilities to provide for the interconnection of storage <br />project powerplants with each other, with participating project power <br />facilities, with other Federal powerplants, and with the electrical <br />facilities of the major investor-owned power companies, in the COlorado <br />Ri ver Basin, area so that the greatest practicable amount of firm power and <br />energy can be produced and delivered to the load centers for sale. Completed <br />features are to be operated by the Government. The principal features <br />are located in northern and central Arizona, western COlorado, northwestern <br />New Milxico, nol'tlte.IUI tern Utah, and southeastern Wyoming. <br /> <br /> <br />
