These weekly control <br />schedules of deliveries to l.iexico are made up of estimated return <br />flows from projects in the Yuma area, releases from Imperial Dam <br />for sluicing silt away from the settling basins and river regulation, <br />and additional releases required from upstream storage. The releases <br />from upstream storage are held to the minimum necessary for the sum <br />of all deliveries to meet the United States' commitments for Hater <br />delivery pursuant to the r.rexican lTater Treaty and the Hinutes of <br />the International Boundary and ~'Jater Commission.
