Robbins, Colorado, as Vice <br />Chairman, The permanent Work Group of the Colorado River <br />Basin Salinity Control Forum is assigned to serve the Council <br />in the capacity of a technical review and study team. Myron <br />Holburt, California, is Chairman of the Work Group. <br /> <br />Public Law 92-500, as interpreted by the Environmental <br /> <br />Protection Agency, required setting of numeric criteria for <br /> <br />salinity for the Colorado River including the establishment of an <br />interstate organization to develop a salinity control plan. The <br />Basin states, in response to EPA's requirements formed the inter- <br /> <br />state group, the Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Forum. The <br />Forum developed water quality standards for salinity for the <br /> <br />Colorado River including a plan of implementation which were <br /> <br />adopted by the seven Basin states as part of their state standards <br /> <br />< ~ <br />
