<br />and analytical areas; and (3) document all assumptions and methodologies. <br />To meet these three objectives, seven subactivities will be conducted <br />by the regional assessment participants. 1478 <br />Subactivity 5 - Review and Evaluation of Nationwide Analysis Results <br />The information and data furnished by the Water Resources Council <br />outlining the modified central case will be reviewed and analyzed by the <br />MRBC staff and will be utilized by the staff, in part, to evolve the <br />regional preference futures (subactivity 6). <br />Subactivity 6 - Develop the Regional Preference Future <br />The nationwide analysis (modified central case) results as well as <br />other sources of information will be utilized by the MRBC staff to evolve <br />the regional preference future. The MRBC staff will utilize such data <br />and information to display the extent of agreement or disagreement with <br />information contained in (1) the modified central case set of projections. <br />(2) the modified central case assumptions and methodologies, (3) the <br />adequacy analysis, and (4) the effects information as shown in Figure 5. <br />Subactivity 7 - Obtain Regionwide Review of the Regional Preference Future <br />The necessary information will be provided to the Group B participants <br />for a regionwide review of the regional preference future evolved in <br />subactivity 6. The inputs by the participants will be synthesized and <br />documented by the MRBC staff. <br />Subactivity 8 - Finalize the Regional Preference Future <br />The results of subactivities 6 and 7 will be compiled and analyzed <br />to'finalize the regional preference future and to display the results <br />including the projections, (socio-economic and associated land and water <br />uses) assumptions, methodologies, and effects information. The MRBC staff <br />will compile this information and data and present the results to the <br />Overview Committee for review and approval. <br /> <br />-6- <br />
