Subactivity 3 - Define Tentative Analytical Areas To define the geographic extent of each problem area, the MRBC staff will uti1 ize the results of subactivity 2 (Fi9ures 3 and 4 and the maps) to tentatively select a set of analytical areas. Each analytical area will be used to describe the geographic boundary of each problem area within the region and to display and estimate the data which describe the problems and the beneficial and adverse effects within each problem area identified during subactivity 2. Results of this subactivity will 1479 be documented on a regional map, narratively described, and referenced to sources of information. Subactivity 4 - Obtain Reqionwide Review of and Reaction to Problems To obtain broader reaction to the results of subactivities two and three, Group B participants will be provided the necessary problem lists, maps, analytical area delineations and other materials for reviewing and commenting on the results of subactivities two and three as well as supplementing the information requested in these subactivities. The study director and the staff will synthesize the results of subactivity 4 for review by the Overview Committee. After review and endorsement by the Overview Committee, the study director will document the results of Activity One (Problem Identification) in a technical memorandum to be presented to the MRBC and subsequently transmitted to WRC.
