Advance Selection of Cllairing Agency <br /> <br />a. The Chair agency (state or Federal) shall be selected annually <br />by a majority of rn=mbers at least one year in advance of serving. The <br />Chair selects fran his agency the Secretary for the Al-JRBIAC to serve <br />during his tenn of office. The operating year for AWRBIAC shall begin <br />October 1 and end Septanber 30. <br /> <br />Section 2. Establishment of the Administrative Committee <br /> <br />a. An Administrative Committee, consisting of five rn=mbers, shall <br />be established in accordance with provisions below: the Secretary of <br />Al-JRBIAC, who shall be Chainnan, and t\o.1o Federal and t\o.1o state representatives. <br />The OIainnan shall have a vote only in case of tie. <br /> <br />b. The I)ext incaning chairing agency shall autcmatically beccme one <br />of the members and shall serve for t\o.1o years, the second year as Chainnan. <br />Other rn=mbers shall be selected fran the remaining agencies by majority <br />vote of the rn=mbers in separate Federal and state caucuses at the close of <br />the operating year to replace the members whose tenn expires. <br /> <br />c. In the event of a vacancy, a new causus shall be conducted to <br />fill unexpired terms. <br /> <br />d. AWRBIAC representatives or alternates may sit with the Administrative <br />Committee in \VOrk sessions, and the Administrative Committee may invite <br />others, when necessary; however l only Administrative Committee rn=mbers shall <br />vote in committee proceedings. <br /> <br />e. Each a~ency, Federal and state, shall designate one person by <br />name to be ava~lab1e to serve at \VOrk sessions of the Administrative <br />Committee, when requested. <br /> <br />f. The duties of the Administrative Committee 'shall include: <br /> <br />(1) FOrtllJ1ation of meeting agenda. <br /> <br />(2) Selection of meeting sites. <br /> <br />(3) Sumnarization, when necessary, of program material, reports, <br />or papers. <br /> <br />(4) Supervision of meeting infonnation and public participation <br />and other aspects of public relations. <br /> <br />(5) Preparation of specifications for annual progress report. <br /> <br />(6) Such other duties as shall be prescribed by AWRBIAC. <br /> <br />1/ Revised as of December 5, 1958; August 1, ~962; October 22, 1970; <br />October 21, 1976. <br /> <br />.24 <br />
