<br />within the Colorado River drainage, and the continuation of <br /> <br />l\:) <br />CJ1 <br />~ <br />N <br /> <br />land use and activity planning. <br /> <br />During <br /> <br />1986 no further <br /> <br />. activity occurred on the Sinbad Valley Unit. <br /> <br />Salinity control has been identified as a resource issue <br /> <br />in three additional Land Management plans prepared in 1986: <br /> <br />Little Snake Resource Area, Colorado: Egan Resource Area, <br /> <br />Nevada and pinedale Resource Area, Wyoming. Three additional <br /> <br />project areas that have been identified for salinity control <br /> <br />activities are Spring Creek Basin/Disappointment Valley, <br /> <br />Colorado: Grand Valley, Colorado: and Round Valley, utah. <br /> <br />The transfer of all advance planning activities for the <br /> <br />Sinbad valley Unit to the Bureau of Reclamation was completed <br />in September 1986. The Upper colorado Region of Reclamation <br /> <br />will be the contact for all activities concerning Sinbad <br /> <br />Valley. <br /> <br />Fish and Wildlife Service <br /> <br />Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) responsibilities are <br />those set forth in the Endangered Species Act, Fish and <br /> <br />Wildlife Coordination Act, Clean Water Act, National Environ- <br /> <br />mental policy Act, the Migratory Bird Treaty Acts, Eagle Act <br />and others. P.L. 98-569 provides for FWS participation in <br />the Colorado River Salinity Control program. <br />Dolores Project (McElmo Creek Unit) - The FWS completed <br />a Planning Aid Memorandum on the Towaoc - Highline Combina- <br /> <br />tion Canal.
