<br />ACTIVITY THREE - DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION DESCRIBING SELECTED PROBLEMS <br /> <br />The objectives of activity three are to: (1) develop the beneficial and <br /> <br />adverse effects information for each of the problems described in subactivity <br /> <br />twelve for both the Modified Central Case and the Regional Preference Future <br />for the years 1975, 1985 and 2000, (2) define a potential set of Level B Study <br /> <br />areas, Special study areas, Level C Study areas and areas for implementation <br /> <br /> <br />studies to receive priority consideration in activity four, and (3) project <br /> <br /> <br />the federal,state, local and private roles and capabilities for resolving the <br /> <br />problems as limited by existing physical, legal, financial and institutional <br /> <br />constraints and limitations. <br /> <br />To accomplish these three objectives five subactivities will be conducted <br /> <br />by the Missouri River Basin Commission. <br /> <br />Subactivity Thirteen - Develop Effects Information for Each Problem <br />Using the analytical areas developed in subactivity twelve, the effects <br />information for each problem will be developed and described using the format <br />of Figure 6. This information will be evolved by the staff in cooperation with <br />the Group A participants for both the Modified Central Case and the Regional <br />Preference Future for the years 1975, 1985 and 2000. The results when compiled <br />by the staff will be reviewed and supplemented by the Group A participants. <br />Subactivity Fourteen - Define Potential Level B, Special, Level C, and <br />Implementation Study Areas <br />Using the information assembled in subactivity thirteen, the geographic <br />extent of each study area will be tentatively defined. Once the study area and <br />the analytical area are defined, the appropriate means for resolving the problems <br /> <br />':'::10 <br />~ <br />M <br />~ <br /> <br />within each study area will be tentatively established by the staff (i.e. - <br />tentatively list Level B studies, Special studies, Level C studies, and imple- <br />ment~tion studies).
