Upon receipt of this <br />state information the staff will synthesize the data, aggregate it for each <br />aggregated subarea (as defined by the Water Resources Council) and compare <br />it to the results furnished by the Water Resources Council describing the <br />Modified Central Case. The Modified Central Case is the level of development <br />allocated to each region from a federal viewpoint, determined during the <br />National Analysis portion of the Assessment. Figure 5 will be used to display <br />the comparison between the Modified Central Case and the State Preference <br />Future. <br />Subactivity Seven -- Develop the Regional Preference Future <br />To evolve the Regional Preference Future the results of the Nationwide <br />Analysis (Modified Central Case) and the State Preference Future will be <br />reviewed and analyzed by the Group A participants. These participants will <br />utilize these data and information to document the State/Regional viewpoint <br />and to display the extent of agreement or disagreement with information con- <br />tained in (1) the r~odified Central Case set of Projections, (2) the /1odified <br />Central Case assumptions and methodologies, (3) the adequacy analysis, and <br />(4) the effects information as shown in Figure 5. <br />Subactivity Eight -- Obtain Regionwide Review of the Regional Preference Future <br />The necessary information will be provided to the Group B participants <br />for a regionwide review of and comment on the regional preference future evolved <br />in subactivity seven. The inputs by the participants will be synthesized and <br />documented by the MRBC staff. <br />Subactivity ~ine -- Finalize the Regional Preference Future <br />The results of subactivities seven and eight will be compiled and analyzed <br />to finalize the Regional Preference Future and display the results including the <br />projections, (socio-economic and associated land and water uses) assumptions, and <br />methodologies, and effects information.
