Once selected, the names, addresses and professional affiliation <br />of each of the selected participants will be provided to the Water Resources <br /> <br />Council for subsequent referral. <br />The ~'issouri River Basin Commission will serve as the regional sponsor <br /> <br />of the National Assessment. The t1issouri River Basin Commission has delegated <br /> <br />to a Overview Committee the overview responsibility for the National Assessment. <br />The MRBC members will designate the Group A and Group B participants. Group A <br /> <br />participants are planning professionals and Group B participants are the <br />Group A participants plus other participants selected by MRBC members to reDre- <br />,sent functional interests by geographic and/or political areas. <br />Subactivity Two -- pevelop Initial Problem and Issue List <br />During this subactivity an initial problem and issue list will be <br />developed which reflects the occurrence of existing or anticipated future <br />problems (to the year 2000) as a result of the present conditions, the Central <br />Case projections or those that have been identified in completed or ongoing <br /> <br />studies, or other valid sources of information. <br /> <br />Each Group A participant will locate, categorize and briefly describe <br />problems and issues he is aware of as follows (Appendix A lists the definition <br />of terms): <br /> <br />1. Locate each problem within the Missouri River Basin on a single map, <br /> <br />dis~lay the geographic extent of each problem on the map (scale <br />1 to 2.5 million) and key each problem located on the map to <br />Figures 3 and 4.
