Phase II composed of four specific activities -- (1) Problem <br />Identification, (2) State/Regional Desires and Objectives, Problem Screeninq <br />and Document Assumptions, (3) peve10p Information Describing Selected Prob- <br />lems, and (4) Selection of State/Regional Priorities and Recommendations <br />and Preparation of Specific Problem Analysis Report -- and Phase III composed <br />of one specific activity -- Review of and comment on the National Assessment <br />Report-ilre summarized in Table I, which lists the activities to be conducted <br />by the Missouri River Basin Commission during the Specific Problem Analysis <br />by displaying the subactivities, the participants and their designated respon- <br />sibil ities. <br /> <br />PHASE I <br /> <br />ACTIVITY ONE - PREIMPLEMENTATION <br />The objective of this activity is to prepare and consummate the memor- <br />andum of agreement between the Missouri River Basin Commission and the Water <br />Resources Council. This activity will be completed when the memorandum of <br />agreement is signed by both parties concerned. <br />PHASE II <br /> <br />ACTIVITY ONE - PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION <br />The objective of this activity is to identify, locate on a map, and <br />briefly describe as an initial problem list, the existing and the anticipated <br />future water and related land resource problems within the Missouri River <br />Basin Region which can be identified as a result of the existing condit,ons, <br />the Central Case projections or actions being implemented or being considered <br />for implementation by federal, state, local or private entities. <br />This objective will be attained through accomplishment of the following <br />'four subactivities. <br /> <br />1380 <br /> <br />-4- <br />
