In January the draft report concerning the Memorandum of Agreement with <br /> <br />the State of Utah to study options for moving coal and saline water was <br /> <br />completed and reviewed. <br /> <br />5. In January the Plan Formulation Working Document was sent out for review. <br /> <br />6. On February 23 a planning conference was held to review the recommended <br /> <br />plan as described in the Plan Formulation Working'Document. <br /> <br />7. During the meeting it was decided that before the recommended plan is <br /> <br />approved, the Bureau needs to make a sensitivity analysis of canal seepage. <br /> <br />8. Planning Report/Draft Environmental Statement is still scheduled for <br /> <br />September 1985. <br /> <br />9. Price-San Rafael Rivers Unit has been submitted for a new advance planning <br /> <br />start in the FY 19B6 budget proposal. <br /> <br />SALINE WATER USE AND DISPOSAL OPPORTUNITIES UNIT (AQUATRAIN) <br /> <br />1. W. R. Grace has sold Aquatrain, Inc. to Western Water Reserves, Inc. <br /> <br />2. On January 17, 1984, Interior Secretary Clark was briefed on the status <br /> <br />of Aquatrain. <br /> <br />3. On January 30, 1984, Modification No. 1 to the Cooperative Agreement <br /> <br />between Reclamation and Aquatrain, Inc. was signed by the Regional <br /> <br />Director. <br /> <br />SAN JUAN RIVER UNIT, COLO./NEW MEX./UTAH/ARIZ. <br /> <br />1.
