However, if persons other than company employees accompany <br />the trip, user days will be counted. . <br /> <br /> <br />G. <br /> <br />Orientation Talks <br /> <br />Orientation talks are a very important aspect of the concessioner <br />responsibilities., They may,be given on the bus while traveling to Lees Ferry <br />ot at other times or locations, if approved in advance by the River Subdistrict <br />R:anger. To ensure that each company covers the points stressed by theN PS; <br />an outline ,and des,cription of the items that must be covered is included here: <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />Passengers should be informed that they will be tr.aveling throughout their <br />trip in Grand Canyon National Park, and all natural, historical, <br />archeological, a(ld wildlife com.ponentsare not to be disturbed. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Purified drinking water will be available for those who desire it. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />life jackets must be worn at all times while on the river and kept <br />properly fastened and adjusted to fit., A demonstration of-how to fasten <br />and adjust the life preserver and what to do if passengers find themselves <br />: in the river should also be given. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />, . , <br />:Chemical toilets 0', other meanS of containerization of hu.man waste will <br />:be provided and must be used in camp. The reasons for this will be <br />:explained. Passengers should also be ,informed of the proper means of <br />:disposing of human waste while not in camp. <br /> <br />. ,:Passengers, sho,uld be informed to follow guides and to stay on trails at <br />~cenic stops. <br /> <br />. Allm~nies must go directly to the co,;cessioner. A booking agent may <br />~e used but such agents must not advertise, organize, and then operate <br />the trip.
