Also presented is the analysis and evaluation of the <br /> <br />potential to improve upland watershed condition. The report discusses <br /> <br />the technical, economic, environmental, and social factors involved in <br /> <br />making improvements to reduce the associated salt load pickup. <br /> <br />13 COORDINATION <br /> <br />14 Coordination of USDA activities with state and federal agencies was <br /> <br />15 accomplished through the Grand Valley Salinity Coordinating Committee. <br /> <br />16 This committee has members from the following agencies and organizations: <br /> <br />17 Bureau of Reclamation, U. S. Geological Survey (Water Resources Division), <br /> <br />18 Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Colorado <br /> <br />19 State University, Soil Conservation Service, Agricultural Research <br /> <br />20 Service, Colorado Water Conservation Board, Grand Valley Irrigation <br /> <br />21 Company, Grand Junction Drainage Oistrict, Colorado River Water Conser- <br /> <br />22 vation District, Grand junction Chamber .of Commerce, Grand Valley <br /> <br />23 Project, Mesa County Soil Conservation District, and Grand Valley <br />24 Irrigation Association. <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />, <br />, <br />, <br /> <br />
