H. Moser of the Bureau of Reclamation and Mr. WaJ.dema:r A. <br />von Schaeler of the International Boundary and Water Commission, in- <br />cluded visits to Laguna and Imperial Dams, dredging operations in <br />progress below Imperial Dam, Senator Wash Dam and a visit to Morelos <br />Dam located in the l1mitrophe section of the Colorado R;tver. Com- <br />mittee members appreciated the opportunity to visit this dam de- <br />signed and constructed entirelY by Mexican agencies. <br /> <br />65-2 Meeting - Oroville, CaJ.ifornia, June 15 and 16, 1965 <br /> <br />Program <br /> <br />The theme of the meeting was "The California Water Plan - <br />Planning and Progress." California was the host state and much <br />of the planning for the meeting was done by Mr. Albert J. Dolcini <br />of California who also presided over the panel discussion pre- <br />sented by the following five speakers: <br /> <br />Mr. Wesley E.' Steiner, Jr., Acting Division <br />Engineer, Division of Resources Planning, Department <br />of Water Resources, Sacramento, California. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert J. Pafford, Jr., Regional Director, <br />U. S. llureau of ReClamation, Region 2, Sacramento, <br />California. <br /> <br />Brigadier General E. E. Wilhoyt, Jr., Division <br />Engineer, Corps of Engineers, South Pacific Division, <br />San Francisco, California. <br /> <br />Mr. John S. llames, State Conservationist, <br />U. S. Department of Agriculture, J3erkeley, California. <br /> <br />Mr. Addison F. Wilber, Project Engineer, <br />aroville Division, California Department of Water <br />Resources, Oroville, CalifOrnia. <br /> <br />The speakers d~scribed the Calti'ornia Water Plan, including <br />its history and development, the role of federal and state agencies <br />in the plan, and the progress made in the financing and construction <br />of the projects Which Will make the plan a reality.
