<br /> <br />San Juan-Chama <br />Water Accounting <br />Albuquerque Area Office <br />February 1999 <br /> <br />The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month of February was <br />computed to be 342 acre-feet (AF) as shown in Table 3. There were 444 AF net <br />San Juan-Chama (SJ-C) losses. as shown in Table 2. There were no diversions <br />through Azotea Tunnel this month, due to on-going tunnel maintenance, <br /> <br />There was a total of 121 AF of Natural (RG) released from Heron. There was a <br />total of 9,164 AF of SJ-C water released from Heron. which was delivered to <br />the City of Albuquerque in Abiquiu as a portion of the City's 1999 Heron <br />allocation. <br /> <br />There were no SJ-C releases from El Vado during the month, <br /> <br />There were no SJ-C releases from Abiquiu during February. <br /> <br />There was 0.25 inches of precipitation at Heron Reservoir. which is 18% of the <br />February (running) average of 1.35 inches. The monthly computations for Heron <br />Reservoir are summarized in Tables 1-3. <br /> <br />Total inflow into Nambe Falls Reservoir was computed to be 107 AF. There were <br />1.0 AF of losses on the reservoir. Table 4 summarizes San Juan-Chama water at <br />m~. <br /> <br />Estimated sediment deposition in the San Juan-Chama pools at Abiquiu and Jemez <br />Canyon Reservoirs. and Cochiti Lake are presented in Tables 5A-5C. Storage <br />and evaporation of Rio Grande water in El Vado and Abiquiu Reservoirs are <br />shown in Table 6. <br /> <br />All data are provisional and subject to revision as final data are collected <br />and analyzed. <br />
