Reports, maps, etc. <br /> <br />(b) Before'sub~tting study report to President.and <br />Congress sublllit to Agriculture, Army, FPC, other <br />affected Federal agencies, and the, State(s) <br />involved. <br /> <br />(c) Before a decision is made on a state proposal, <br />submit to same as above. <br /> <br />Potential Additions to 'National Rivers System <br /> <br />(a) List of twenty-seven study rivers <br /> <br />(b) Secretaries of Interior and Agriculture authorized <br />to lead studies and complete within 10 years from <br />date of Act (Oct. 1, 1978), <br /> <br />(c) studies shall be pursued in close cooperation with <br />State and local governments. <br /> <br />(d) Water resources plans by all Federal agencies are <br />to consider use and development impacts on potential <br />rivers. Additional rivers to be considered for <br />possible designation, <br /> <br />Land Acquisition <br />(a) Acquisition authorized, <br /> <br />Average of 100 acres per mile on both sides of <br />the river may be acquired in fee title. <br /> <br />State lands may be acquired only by donation. <br /> <br />Indian or State political subdivision land may <br />not be acquired without consent, if a management <br />plan approved by the Secretary is being followed. <br /> <br />L&WCF money may be 'used tor Federal acquisition. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />\ <br />
