Some of the water from the reservoir would be released to the

Pleasant Valley stream channel and the remainder would be diverted at

the reservoir outlet into the Log Hill Mesa Canal. The releases made

to the stream would be diverted about 3 1/2 miles below the dam into

the potential ,Pleasant Valley Canal and conveyed eastward to lands

along Dallas and Plea;ant Valley Creeks above Ridgway Reservoir., Water

diverted into the Log Hill Mesa Canal would be conveyed northeast to

serve lands on the mesa above the McKenzie Canal.

Sneva Reservoir

The potential Sneva Reservoir at a site offstream from Cow Creek

would be provided water by the existing Sneva Ditch diverting from Cow

Creek. The ditch which presently crosses the reservoir basin would be

realigned. Releases from the Reservoir would be made to the potential

Sneva Outlet Canal and conveyed westward to lands in the valley along

Dry Creek.

Laterals and drains

On all project lands except on Log Hill Mesa existing laterals and

ditches are expected to be adequate for delivery of project 'water with

minor improvements that could be made by the water users. A new laterll,l

system would be requir ed for approximately 11,800 acres on Log Hill Mesa.

This ~ld consist of project-cOnstructed laterals and natural channels

of McKenzie Creek, Fisher Creek, and other intermittent suealDs that

would be used for conveyance of project water.
