Some water released from the reservoir also would <br /> <br />meet downstream requirements for fish and for existing irrigation rightl. <br /> <br />In the irrigation season water would be released through the dike on <br /> <br />Dallas Creek and conveyed in a penstock to Ridgway Pumping Plant. At <br /> <br />", <br /> <br />the plant some of the water would drive the turbines and some 'WOuld be <br /> <br />pumped into the McKenzie canal for conveyance to the lands'on lower Log <br /> <br />Hill Mesa. Wateil used for driVing power would pass through the turbines <br /> <br />to the Uncompahgre River and be available for other project Pjlrpous. <br /> <br />During the nonirrigation season when the pumps liOuld not be in operation' <br /> <br />water for various purposes would be re1ea.ed from Ridgway Reservoir <br /> <br />directly to the Uncompahgre River through the dam on the river. <br /> <br />Dallas Divide Reservoir <br /> <br />Dallas Divide Reservoir on Pleasant Valley Creek would store water <br /> <br />of the creek as well as water from the East and West Forks of Dallal <br />
