The reservoir is well located to <br />serve the oil shale industry. <br />13. White River - Figure Four Pipeline <br />The diversion for this pipeline is located on the White River in the lower <br />section of Powell Park and conveys water by pumping from the White River <br />to the upper reach of Black Sulphur Creek, a tributary of Piceance Creek. <br />The right is owned by the Atlantic Richfield Company. The right is: <br />Name Decreed Capacity Appropriation Date <br />White River-Figure Four <br />Pipeline 70 cfs 10 June 1968 <br />14. Superior Oil Storage Project <br />The project consists of 4 off-channel reservoirs, each served by a pumping <br />plant and pipeline from the White River. The reservoirs are located on the <br />north side of the White River in the general vicinity of the confluence of <br />Piceance Creek with the White River. The rights are owned by the Superior <br />Oil Company and consist of: <br />Name Decreed Capacity Appropriation Date <br />Crooked Wash Reservoir 11,800 AF I September 1968 <br />Crooked Wash Pipeline 100 cfs I September 1968 <br />Wray Gulch Reservoir 13,500 AF I September 1968 <br />Wray Gulch Pipeline 100 cfs I September 1968 <br />Blacks Gulch Reservoir 13,900 AF I September 1968 <br />Blacks Gulch Pipeline 100 cfs I September 1968 <br />Kellog Gulch Reservoir 3,700 AF I September 1968 <br />Kellog Gulch Pipeline 100 cfs I September 1968 <br />The project is planned to serve the proposed oil shale project of the Superior Oil <br />Company which is to be located near the mouth of Piceance Creek. <br />15. Strawberry Creek Reservoir and Strawberry Creek Pipeline <br />The project consists of an off-channel reservoir on Strawberry Creek, a tributary <br />of the White River, which is served by a pumping plant and pipeline from the <br />White River.
