South Fork Reservoir and South Fork Pipeline <br />This reservoir is located on the South Fork of the White River. The option <br />for the water rights are held by the Humble Oil and Refining Company. <br />The rights are: <br />Name Decreed Capacity Appropriation Date <br />South Fork Reservoir 85,342 AF 14 September 1964 <br />South Fork Pipeline 100 cfs 14 September 1964 <br />TI-e reservoir and the pipeline diversion are located in the canyon of the South <br />Fork of the White River within the White River National Forest and approximately <br />13 miles upstream from the junction of the South Fork with the White River. <br />The pipeline would transport both the natural flow and stored water by gravity <br />from tf-e reservoir to 14-Mile Creek, a tributary of Piceance Creek. <br />II. White River Pipeline No.2 <br />This pipeline conveys water from the White River by pumping to the South Fork- <br />Piceance Pipeline whence it is conveyed to the 14-Mile Creek, a tributary of <br />Piceance Creek. The right is owned by the Humble Oil and Refining Company. <br />The right is: <br />Name Decreed Capacity Appropriation Date <br />White River Pipeline No.2 120 cfs 12 October 1964 <br />12. Powell Park Reservoir and White River-Piceance Creek Pipeline <br />The Powell Park Reservoir is located on the White River approximately 10 <br />miles downstream of Meeker. The option for the water rights is held by <br />Occidental Oil Shale, Inc. The rights are: <br />Name Decreed Capacity Appropriation Date <br />Powell Park Reservoir 75,970 AF 5 August 1966 <br />White River-Piceance <br />Creek Pipeline 100 cfs 5 August 1966 <br />TI-e reservoir and the pipeline diversion are located in the lower section of <br />Powell Park about 10 mi les downstream of Meeker. The pipeline would transport <br />both the natural flow of the White River and the stored flow by pumping from the <br />reservoir to an area of the Piceance Creek in the vicinity of the junction of <br /> <br />-10- <br /> <br />,,i; >>.,' <br />
