Ertl Pipeline <br />This project is located on a tributary of the South Fork of the White River and <br />consists of the following right: <br /> <br />Name Decreed Capacity Appropriation Date <br />Ertl Pipeline 30 cfs 17 December 1957 <br />This project calls for the collection of 30 cfs of water from the natura I runoff <br />of the upper south s'lope tributaries of the South Fork of the White River and <br />convey the supplies to the head of Pi ceance Creek. The option for the right <br />is presently held by The Oi I Shale Corporation. <br />4. Sweetwater Hydroelectric Project <br />This project, also known as Rocky Mountain Power Company (ROMPOCO) is <br />a complex project located on the South Fork of the White River and the <br />Colorado River. The option for the project is currently held by the Rio Blanco <br />Oil Shale Project. Objections to <br />diverting the flow from the South Fork could be expected from fishing and <br />environmental groups. The Rio Blanco Oil Shale Project has recently <br />petitioned the water court to transfer the points of diversion from the South <br />Fork and its tributaries to the White River near Yellow Creek.
