Parker Water and <br />Sanitation District estimates a buildout population of about 135,000. Therefore, Larkspur <br />and the more rural areas of Douglas County would have an estimated population of just less <br />than 100,000. <br /> <br />Employment growth is expected to continue at the rates seen in the 1990's. Douglas County <br />has projected that the current 56,655 jobs in Douglas County will increase to between <br />154,206 and 191,762jobs by the year 2020. <br /> <br />Figure 2.2 illustrates the projected population in the South Metro Area through the year <br />2050. The projections are for all of Douglas County plus the population growth projections <br />of ECCV, ACWW A, and the portion ofInvemess in Arapahoe County. <br />
